About the Author


My name is Teresa and I in my 50’s and live in southern CA. I have always been appearance conscious and from an early age avoided foods high in calories and exercised regularly.

I started running in 1997, which prompted me to learn about foods that support endurance activities. When my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999, I stated reading books on cancer cause and prevention. Althoug I thought my diet was pretty good to begin with, I started eating different foods and taking vitamins and supplements.

The rates at which cancer, obesity and type 2 diabestes are occurring in our country are amazing!

 From what I have read,  most of this is not only preventable, but also treatable with a change in diet and lifestyle.

This blog will serve as a place for me to put into words, the concepts that I read in numerous health articles. Hopefully people will start taking responsibilty for their own health and make smart lifestyle changes!
